on my blackberry I use google docs and the gmail app from google, not &quot;push&quot; messaging, so I can get my labels, and check mail when I want.

Google Sync for blackberry syncs my google calendar and contacts.  When I had to erase my device I lost nothing, I simply downloaded google sync and had all my contacts and calendar data back!</description>
