In the field of technologies new innovations come out all the time and in my opinion, I believe that certain innovations will be crucial technology in the next few years and will revolutionize computers in the future. Many of these technologies already exist and are growing now and are currently only available from a few companies.  These are the technologies that I believe that will become standards in most computers in the next 5 years.

1.    Solid State Hard Drives-

Currently, Solid State Drives are available as a very expensive option by most of the major providers. Solid State Drives also, are only available in smaller capacities and do not hold as much as regular hard drives. However, as the technology becomes more and more advanced, I think that the cost will become competitive with regular hard drives and they will also be able to hold as much a regular hard drives, which will make it become more of a standard. The major advantage that Solid State Drives has is that they can access data significantly faster than regular hard drive which will become more important as more and more tasks are dependant on computers.

2.    LED Displays-

This is simple, Leds are much easier on the eyes and provide much better display quality. With grand technology like that it makes anything else obsolete!

3. 3G Internet-

People have become very dependant on the Internet  and now people who travel a lot need internet everywhere and want their connections to be fast! 3G is the fastest cellular internet availible right now and I think people need to  stay online anywhere and  I think more and more people will buy 3G for their mobile devices so they can be online anywhere.

4. Cloud computing-

Cloud Computing is a great method of accessing your data from anywhere over the internet and though it is growing daily, I think as Cloud applications become more, and more advanced more people will begin using it because they it makes tasks simpler in many situations!
